The Raven. These Raven carvings measure approximately 1 7/8 inches long and stand about 1 1/8 inches tall. The Raven is a common sight through out Alaska. They are carved from Walrus ivory and painted by L. Savage. Only Alaskan Natives are allowed to work fresh Walrus ivory.
